Zak Gilsenan was not in the squad for Grimsby in the EFL Cup Round 3.

Charlie Cummins was an unused sub for Exeter in a 0-1 loss to Cardiff in the EFL Trophy Group A. Alex Robertson was not in the squad for Cardiff.

Gethin Jones was not in the squad for MK Dons in the EFL Trophy Southern Group D.

Shanghai Port end up losing 3-0 to Vissel Kobe in their AFC Champions League Elite game and Vissel Kobe move top of the table at the conclusion of matchday 1. Melbourne City second from bottom ahead of their away game against Vissel Kobe, and Shanghai Port in wooden spoon position.

Might overtake Malaysia also as JDT lost 2-1 to Buriram United after leading 1-0 at half time in their game, and hopefully results in AFC Champions League 2 go our way as well, including Macarthur getting a win on matchday 1.
 
What a crazy game!

Forest weā€™re the better team and should even been up by more instead it stayed 2-0 and fair play to Swansea for finishing strong and a great moment for Burgess who wasnā€™t having heā€™s best game but a great hit to seal the win for heā€™s team.

Feel for Ange but happy for Burgess lol.

Yep silver lining that Burgess was the one to screw Ange over!! He'll be fuming though and spraying them something shocking. The number of chances they had in the second half and barely even hit the target was nowhere near good enough.

This almost always happens though early on with Ange's teams and if there is one competition you'd choose to bow out of early it's the Carabao Cup.
 
Cameron Burgess played a full game, scored a brace and recieved a yellow card as Swansea defeated Ange Postecoglu's Nottingham Forest 3-2 in the EFL Cup.

Jordy Bos started and was subbed in the 78th minute for Feyenoord in a 2-0 win over Fortuna Sittard in the Eredivise.

Marco Tilio played a full game for Rapid Wien in a 2-1 win over 3rd Tier Oberwart in the Austrian Cup.

Bae Versace was not in the squad for Buducnost Podgorica in the Montenegro Top Flight.

Patrick Yazbek played a full game for Nashville in a 3-1 win over Philadelphia in a Open Cup Semi Final.

Sam MciIlhaton played a full game for Birmingham Legion in a 1-4 loss to the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the USL.

Giuseppe Bovalina was an unused sub for the Vancouver Whitecaps in a 4-0 (6-2 Aggregate) win over Forge FC in a Canadian Championship Semi Final.
