Complaining about the standard seems odd, its a decent step up from the a league and the highest level our clubs get to compete at

Scottish premiership has modernized the last three seasons. They now play a style that is similar to continental football, tho they have a lot of players with the wrong physical profile (not agile enough)

Its changed pretty quickly, which is good considering how many aussies go their

Yep,

And sure its weird and not how people follow club football in other countries. But if you think about it its weird to watch 22 sweaty men chase a ball around for 90 minutes. I try not to think about it too hard

In the acl the standard is as high as the 2nd tier of europe and there is actually something at stake (the coefficient! The club world cup!) So im on the edge of my seat with every kick of the ball

Its not weird per se, just depends on how emotionally invested you are at club level I suppose... I actually dont mind the football in ACL 1 although sometimes in ACL 2 its a bit agricultural... you can only play whats in front of you and it is improving...

TBH - the ACL2 (AFC Cup) should be a doddle since they changed the format after CCM won it. It is now much more straight forward with a lot less travel.

True - but we still have a reasonable record against then considering their standard. - 20 wins and 21 draws is better than I thought - albeit with 43 losses including qualifiers. Yes there have been the occasional blowouts by the the elite teams but it surprised me how competitive against the next rung we are.
