Slightly off topic here but Darren Lockyer the former Brisbane Bronco RL player was interviewed in The UK's Observer newspaper on Sunday.

Along with his business partner he has purchased a second division RL franchise in London called The London Broncos. He envisages that RL will become a global sport and that London Broncos with their 3000 average crowd will be a big part of this.

The Aussies trying to make London the centre of a new rug...

Along with his business partner he has purchased a second division RL franchise in London called The London Broncos. He envisages that RL will become a global sport and that London Broncos with their 3000 average crowd will be a big part of this.

To swing back to the original topic about 25 pages ago ( bald kings? convicts? rugby league? The Dutch? The Nazis? Croatian Ambassadors ? WTF ? ) my personal agenda is the betterment, unification and consolidation of Australian football from the grass roots all the way through to the pyramid so we can truly fulfill our massive potential.

Staj has good intentions and I can see where he is coming from however even must see that the APL essentially telling the rest of the pyramid to fuck off ( i.e the FA ) is an extremely divisive act in itself and the FFA/FA's behaviour before the split in marginalising, demonising, umdermining the rest of the pyramind and preventing any sort of 2nd Division for the past 10 years is on them rather than the rest of us.

Let's be honest only that the APL took off and took the miniscule TV money with them ( how's that going, idiots ) that the FA suddenly developed any interest in the rest of the football pyramid.
