AA Pro-Rel Watch 2025/26

Aberdeen lost 2-1 to Celtic in their Scottish Premiership matchday 25 catch-up game to remain eighth on the ladder on 29 points, with the defeat all but confirming they'll be in the relegation group at the conclusion of the first phase.

Oxford are currently up 3–1 away over Preston. This would put Leicester second last in 23rd place, above only Sheffield Wednesday who’ve already been relegated. Leicester play Ipswich tomorrow.

Heracles Almelo still in wooden spoon position in Eredivisie, but close the gap with SC Telstar to three points after a scoreless draw with FC Utrecht and are four points from safety, with NAC Breda and SC Telstar both yet to play their matchday 26 games.

Oxford United with a 3-1 win over Preston North End in their Championship game which means that Leicester City are now second from bottom on 34 points, one point from safety but they could move outside the relegation zone with at least a draw against Ipswich Town due to superior for and against.

Osasuna vs Mallorca is about to end in a 2–2 draw. Maty Ryan’s Levante are 19th and need five points and a better goal difference to catch Elche in 16th. Tomorrow Elche play Villarreal away before Levante play Girona at home.

If ADO Den Haag win their next three games (including tonight’s one starting soon) their automatic promotion to the Eredivisie will have been confirmed. Win tonight and I believe they’ll have secured at least a playoff spot.

Randers with their first Superliga relegation group match against FC Fredericia kicking off on Friday local time, with the bottom two sides getting relegated and the top team going through to the European qualification playoff match against third place from the premiership group to determine who makes the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round.

Oxford look certain for victory but Charlton for a late point which helps the latter more. Leicester lost putting them second bottom while WBA turned it on to win.

Portsmouth have 2 games in hand and the 2 AA there will be hoping to contribute at some point.

SC Telstar lost 3-0 to Heerenveen in their Eredivisie game with Max Balard and NAC Breda one point behind and able to move out of the relegation zone with a win against Go Ahead Eagles in their matchday 27 game, which they are still yet to play.

Cameron Peupion and ADO Den Haag with a chance to confirm promotion to Eredivisie if they manage to get the job done against Jong FC Utrecht in their Eerste Divisie game.

A shame that Middlesbrough are stumbling towards the finish line. Would love to see McGree in prem. Should be the first name on Popa’s teamsheet

Max Balard and NAC Breda with another chance at getting out of the relegation zone blown after losing 2-1 in their Eredivisie game against PEC Zwolle, remaining one point behind SC Telstar who are still yet to play their match this week and could well extend the gap from safety for them to four points with a win.

Telstar have PSV Eindhoven who are the champions-elect. Would be a huge upset if Telstar took points off PSV. In fact PSV may claim the title in a few weeks.
