Brisbane vs Melbourne city

Why should I watch?

Two words Thomas waddingham. Scored two goals last week if he follows it up on Friday night the hype will start. Australia needs a striker. Otherwise Brisbane need a win and Melbourne city are looking vulnerable and need to bounce back after last week.


Auckland vs Wellington

Why should I watch? It's a sold out match between the two teams from new Zealand. Auckland are sitting at the top Wellington have a chance to close the gap. Sold out top of the table clashes on a Saturday afternoon.

Newcastle vs Adelaide

Why should I watch?

Adelaide while not very impressive are sitting third. Newcastle are at home and can smell their blood. Could be a upset on the weekend.

Western united vs MacArthur

Your Saturday night main event. The two newest teams face off at ironbark stadium. 7th vs 10th is hard to spice up but if it's like the MacArthur game last week there should be heaps of goals.


Melbourne victory vs Perth

Why should I watch? It's the inform team vs the out of form team. On paper it's a smashing. Azarni is grabbing everyone's attention how will he go this weekend?

Mariners vs Sydney

The ACL team vs the AFC team. Both teams have been stop and start and it's quite a big match that can shape the table. Sydney win they are jumping in the top four or mariners win they are equal with Sydney. Could be your green and gold Fc game of the round

Young players to watch:
Brisbane vs Melbourne city

Waddling ham, jelacic, memehti and shreiber all look destined for bigger things. Brazetti looks decent too and might be pushing for a start

Newcastle vs Adelaide

Jovanovic and kikianis both have the skill set to make the big 5 if the stars align. Alagich is another outstanding central mid too

Western united vs MacArthur
Leonard and vidmar are the youngest cb I can recall and look really good, macarthur have Adamson who is probably our most promising player in the problematic rb position. Jed drew piol and holman also look exciting


Melbourne victory vs Perth

Vic is probably the best team for the neutral with arzani, bos, league and valadon. Perth probably helps them rack their stats up haha

Mariners vs Sydney
Peraic Cullen looks our most promising goal keeper, and we should see him in action most the night the way ccm are going

I do like the element of hype melcity adds, need a bit of that advertising too. Maybe there is a way to get the best of both worlds?

I actually have every round thread for the entire season ready to go. I just need to update the table each week.
My schedule is to post the day before the round (usually Thursday AM). Happy to post earlier in the week if people prefer.
