cricket is an interesting case where people don't care too much about attendances of the top league but care about the international and grassroots side. I couldn't tell you sheffield shield attendances but ive seen empty stadiums

Sheffield Shield attendances have probably been in 100's since the 1980's.

The ACB/Cricket Australia have treated it as a nuisance for years.

It's as rare as rooster teeth to see the Test team playing for their state.

Interesting to see the replies. I didn't watch but maybe his score is embellishmed by easy stats. The score drops a lot for blunders though but does it score things like sluggish marking or chasing?

I just don't enjoy Okon's risky lazy passing in build ups and getting turned. That's how he always looked for Australia. Plenty of time to grow but he just can't be going to a world cup yet.

Tuesday night. Matildas game literally was starting as the game ending. Was always going to be a small crowd. Me however, I felt right at home as it was like a NPL3 game.

He’s a talented player but he’s not quite national team level yet, he’s decision making needs more work from what I’ve seen.

As a No.6 you can’t afford to be inconsistent with your chooses on and off the ball.

I'm just we once had a thriving league but gallop destroyed it then Townsend made it worse. The number of mistakes that have been made it's incredible.

Football manages to burn itself from so many stakeholders. Like somebody mentioned the other week lampard coming to city was blocked. Would have been news all over the world if he played in Melbourne.

The people that are showing up are the hardcore fans. Anyone with a passing interest isn't paying attention anymore
