A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 21

3,766@ Wellington
We would have expected the crowds for Wellington Phoenix's game against Perth Glory to be higher given that it was the first of a doubleheader with the women's team playing Brisbane Roar and that match ended up having 4,169 in attendance.

3,766@ Wellington
4,769@ Brisbane
4,727@ Gosford.

The above are why I always say that Australian football could not sustain a longer season. We still have four complete rounds to go, and things will continue to get worse.
yep so playing less games will do the trick for developing better players and teams, great logic.

My point is, the complete lack of interest in the game. No fans, no game.
The games on FTA tv haven’t rated 2 weeks in a row, very dire outlook. With the next TV being a flop can’t see the league holding up I give it 2 years tops.

The quality of the football deserves better attendances. Three games under 5k is a real concern. There has just been no excitement surrounding this season. Nothing changes until the competition has some kind of media presence. Being on Ten/Paramount has been a disaster. The network is a graveyard.

If it wasn't for them, we'd have been in the graveyard.

On FM I usually go with shoot on sight. Newcastle we're passing around to much
Yep, agree mcg, we did this at the beginning of the year and rarely won a game, we've started doing it again the last couple of games and it shows. Need to get back to the running game. Auckland were the better team on the day. I thought Rosey was bloody terrible and he can fuck off now, playing like that. Also noticed that Milligan totally ignored him when he came off, must be in the bad books

Yep. Good man management ignoring an 18 year old. Plenty of others to blame.

Vuck really giving the dick to the Bulls, 4-1. However we’re are the crowds - looks to be 5k tops.

Just turned on Vic and the Bulls. Bloody hell, that's about the emptiest I have seen AAMI Park with Victory playing. What on earth is happening to A League attendances?

To be fair what could the club do differently? They are playing ok high on the ladder and they have mata.

The biggest club in Australia and there only pulling in 5-6k. Pathetic.. Talk about a deadbeat state for football.

You seem devastated by it
lol as if, We always hear Victorians brag about being the sports capital of Australia but when it cums to football the ball has dropped so much your a laughing stock to the rest of the nation.

Boooring

None of the a league teams are pulling that well. To argue who's doing better is such a waste of time
