I lived through the NSL during the 90s - great times. I am early 40’s now.

There were plenty of City fans and families decked out in City colours and kits. After their attendance midweek I wasn’t expecting it.

A lot are probably like me. Have season tickets and memberships but goto half the games each season. I blame working

But it still doesn't make sense why buy all the merch and the membership sounds like a waste of money if it's not being used

Its not like there playing ugly football aka Bris Roar, but the lack of wins have hurt the fan base. How do you go from 24k 2 seasons ago to just 10k this season? in Wellington.

I'll be surprised if we get more than 12-13K to the game, half of those will be bandwagoners, who will leave just as fast as they arrived, if we lose a couple. The important number is the membership, but it's getting harder to get people to sign up

Excluding the finals last season, the average was 8,788. Down by 4%.

Obviously, albeit unfortunately, some bandwagon fans will leave, but I do think some will stay. I mean soccer's the the only big sport on in summer in Newcastle given they don't have a pro basketball or cricket team. If the Jets wanted to be smart with this when the A-League and NRL seasons overlap they should avoid scheduling Jets games at the same time as Knights games (and men's and women's games at different times).

Wanderers going to lose again and remain dead bottom while Mata is tearing up the league.

The Bulls have really cancelled out the Jets attacks, 0-0 so far but i think we will be lucky to see 1 goal the wat things have gone so far.
Crowd wise looks small maybe 9 or 10k tops.

Man i gotta feel bad for WSW fans, they do have some great players but when push comes to shove they just fold like a deck of cards. Why has the club become so poison?
