A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 16

tuff.co.nz tips that Wellington’s Waitangi Day A-Leagues double header will also include the announcement of Sarpeet Singh’s return to the club.

The All White Star has been in Europe since leaving the Phoenix in 2019 to join Bayern Munich.

Currently on the books of TSC Backa Topola in Serbia, he was recruited by ex-Wellington coach Darije Kalezic, who has since been sacked by the club in November. Singh hasn’t started since and is looking to ensure he has game time ahead of the World Cup in June.

The attacking star made two appearances for Bayern’s first team, before moving around Europe with stints in Germany and Portugal.

All Whites coach Darren Beazley will hope the move sees Singh build momentum heading into the World Cup. He joins Bill Tuiloma as 2026 additions in Giancarlo Italiano’s squad. Wellington play Melbourne Victory in the A-League Men at 5pm AEDT, following an A-League Women’s clash with Perth Glory at 2pm AEDT.

I think it means Armiento ran into a stationary defender. Yeah, seems like a first time hearing that call haha

That was biggest load of crap I've ever seen, Nix duped out of draw because of BS bias Ref and VAR. How the fk is that not a pen?.
Victory paying off the refs again like SFC.

That was a good game from wot i seen of the 2nd half, the kid from Western United is all class. Seen the replay of the Kurto fumble goal - strange one as the ball wasnt moving to fast it looked like it bounced just before hitting his gloves and tumbled over the line.

Looked to me like the shot was driven into the ground near where it was taken - so it looped a lot slower than expected and had a bit of ugly spin on it.

Like heading the ball into the ground - the keeper reacts to the direction without having time to consider the bounce changing everything.

Duke is just outrageously good by a league standards, probably #2 striker after mo toure interesting he didn't make it in the J league
