I ALWAYS go home after a match and watch the full replay ... even the losses... just a quirk of mine I guess, but especially great when its been a satisfying last minute win., After final whistle its have a chat at the bar after the match, go home, turn the tellie on, I already know the score and I can pour a littel scotchi-pooh and enjoy the win again without the agony of uncertainty...

Im the worst to watch football live with btw..... I ride every fucken touch, every missed chance, suffer every poor pass and goal against... ... its an illness.

I'm with Sutho full stop - "live" only, once I know the score feck replays - APIA/LFC if I ever miss games a quick highlights reel does the filler knowing the results.

Kids and mobile’s incl some adults Sutho - jump the moment a vibration or sound triggers they are missing out on bs selfies look what I’m eating or where

At home I watch on the TV and leave the computer commentary till halftime and end of game. At the game I never check the commentary - just wait till I get home to spam you all with pages of observations. I like to hear what others think after the game - especially for the contentious moments. At the ground I make my own observations (although I do talk to the people that go with me about what we see).

One thing that amuses me though. I go to City games and there is a fairly young guy who sits near us listening in. We talk shit and make stuff up just to get him going.

One crazy and unrelated co-incidence I have noticed...

I will click on the aleagues website to see how a game is going when it is not a game I am watching live for whatever reason. I see the score and click on the game to have a look at who scored and at what times - and no lie; by the time the game page opens up a goal has often just been scored.

If I have missed the start of a game I want to watch, I turn the TV on and it feels like more than half the time a goal has just been scored.

It is something that happens often enough that it is a standing joke in my house.

I do not believe anything other than coincidence is involved but it is funny how common it is. Mathematically a goal takes a decent 2-3 minutes at least to happen, get checked, and update the scoreboard; and more if there are VAR complications. So there is a longer period than you might expect between the shot and the score and therefore more likelihood of you picking a moment in that time - as well as multiple goals being scored throughout a game to make it even more likely.

Still, coincidences that happen frequently grab your attention.
 
Because Jets management has requested 5PM games, I rarely watch them live. Don't mind knowing the score, it's the game I want to see.

5pm Is a great time on a Saturday, few pints at the game, then head off out on the town, for a lot more pints.

They knocked down all the pubs and put blocks of flats on them. By 5PM on Saturday I've already had half a dozen schooners🥴

yer pretty much though that was lonnnng ago I remember it well and countless other achievements - barring seeing docos and highlights that come up when watching other content yer I don't get home and later watch full replays seriously.
I hardly recall doing/watching any full replay - couldn't be bothered.
IF/when I get on the LFC site and an article is about Instanbul, or a top Klopp game I'll watch the clips provided.
Suarez's top 10/20 goal clips.
Rushy's tallys etc
The CL comeback win at Anfield against Barca - TAA's quick corner take and Origi's flick - seen that on heap of highlight clips for eg, thats it.
"LIVE" is my preferred go to.
 
That mid stuff is pretty weak, get on the full strength. No Scotchies for me, I'll leave that for Mono. Loved a few Rummies back in the day, but now it's a few Reddy Wineys

It is full strength at Allianz, as well as all the suburban grounds.

It changed for the suburban grounds a few years back.

happens after so many scotchipooos - look what happened to his kit after that many and split more than drank, lost all its colour rainbow ink ran to the bottom, messy night that !
He can't recall though so all good.
