If so should be a big fine coming the Roar's way if the APL has any balls.

I heard Matt Simons may have been having verbals and maybe more with Valkanis in the tunnel.

I suspect Matt Simon informed the ref and apparently Bouzanis was miffed with that.

Even as a Brisbane fan, I agree with Warren Moon. Furthermore, I think Brisbane have been a disgrace to the game this season, despite the results. I was very glad to see the ref ignoring the bullshit of Bouzanis feigning injury near the end. It has been a regular occurrence when Roar have been trying to waste time this season.

Valkanis was arguing with the ref when he was found in the Brisbane rooms after being sent off. Simon and Bouzanis 'exchanging words'. TBH Valkanis should have been nowhere near the dressing room and I suspect Simon pointed that out to the ref. I expect a longer than normal suspension for Valkanis

Evidently it was Bouzanis he was having words with rather than Valkanis.The game was feisty on and off the field and then Warren Moon's post match interview was intense and full of passion.Actually I like to see this passion in the game-it is a game for people with heart and fire.

Roar sure are hard to watch. Do they really have to play such horrible football to win?

I'm a Roar supporter and watching them play atm is like having a tooth drilled. We sure are a long long way from the Roar of Broich and Ange.

Will the fans come back while they are playing Iike this? Very hard to see it happening.

On the bright side, Victory were a pleasure to watch.

Clearly defence is the priority but don’t think we are that bad to watch. We’ve certainly become better to watch as the season has come along. I’m just happy we’re winning again.

I will say some of the antics from the coaching staff on the benches as well as some of the players isn’t always pleasant to watch, but I guess it comes with the territory. Hopefully they can refine it and simmer down as the season progresses

FFS, the Mariners of all teams cannot try take a moral high ground on this. It was about 18 months ago their assistant coach was shown a red card for the same type of behaviour and carried on like a goose afterwards. And what did the Mariners do about it? They supported their assistant coach. Sounds awfully familiar.

Secondly, the only footage I have seen from the tunnel is Mat Simon being aggressive. Presumably you are also outraged by his behaviour and want the club / APL to sanction him?

Doesn't matter what you saw. The sideline reporter who was on the ground had Valkanis addressing the players in the change rooms after he was sent off and then arguing with the ref. Bouzanis then teed off on Simon (who probably alerted the ref to where Valkanis was). Who cares about the handbags between the players and staff - but apparently the volunteers in the Brisbane dressing room were caught up in the fracas.

Yes if he became physical in any way he should also be fined or sanctioned

Agreed - but the only physical contact I thought I saw was Simon with someone's hand on his throat.
