Nix the better side for the last 75 min. Things are looking ok from what i seen we just might yet not be spoon bound.

looking good in the front third though , but good old Zdrillc tactics to shutdown for 75 minutes and it goes pear shape who would of thought

Apparently they have 20,000 members, as well. If only they would show up, unless they have gone back to supporting their NPL teams they used to follow.

They seem to have 20,000 every year but does that include 3 game memberships, pet memberships etc like afl clubs have? They're a 9-12k club now (derby aside).

Pretty poor having 20 000 members and half not turning up!

My Paramount Plus stream isn’t working live, so haven’t seen Vic play Auck yet. Replays work fine.
 
Having a look at WSW v Melb City, was astonished how languid the Squeezing was in the team Press, compared to the intensity of Canada, USA, Kiwis, Japan and Saudi in Socceroo internationals.

Melb City was able to keep the ball effortlessly for sustained periods. It was good to watch.

I think Trewin can work as a DM too. Good distribution.

Was pleased to see Thurgate playing for WSW after Western’s shock exit.

While the high press did pay off against Glory in the end, Its very easy for a team to overcome - i think a side like City and Adelaide would bypass it easy and do the damage like Glory did in the 1st 15min. It can work but it can also backfire badly.

I was having the same issue with Paramount. I uninstalled teh app and re-installed it and that fixed it for now.

My tv let me click and hold on the Paramount+ app and choose Reinstall.

The stream worked but I don't know if it would have anyway - easily tried regardless.
 
Coasties must be sitting this one out in solidarity with the NT. Mostly Jets fans here at the moment.

Fair enough Sutho, been on the Everest pis all day and I tend to prattle on a bit. Had I been sober, the main point i was trying to make was, most clubs are struggling to get 6-7K to the game. A CEO once said that 10K is needed for every game just to break even. Punters are not coming, how do you get them to the game? Play a brand of football that they want to watch
 
What’s the story with VAR being used to over-rule a free kick and yellow card. I thought VAR was restricted to offsides, red cards and penalties. I think the refs have screwed up hugely here.

Edit: VAR can also rule on whether a goal has been scored (ball crossing line).
