That's disappointing if true, but not unexpected.

The corresponding finals fixture in 2009/10 was only 18,453, not that much of a difference.Just over 15k for MV and 11k something for Auckland.
Auckland are likely going to fall off a cliff when they finally have a poor season.
MV we've spoken about at length, think they're just suffering from the general lack of interest in the A league in Melbourne these days, very hard fix.

People were saying that the Elimination Finals aren't on the memberships so they're saving their pennies for a later final. Funny thing, they never got that later final.Just over 15k for MV and 11k something for Auckland.

That is what all teams season ticket holders say.People were saying that the Elimination Finals aren't on the memberships so they're saving their pennies for a later final. Funny thing, they never got that later final.
What has the day got to do with it, it is a normal sporting night in Victoria that is well attended by the majority of sports. The corresponding finals fixture in 09/10 was over 2 legs and the 1st leg in Melbourne was played on a Thursday night.

92,000 Aussie rules fans, say differently.A Saturday night should be bigger than a school weeknight.

sad but true!Aussie rules fans would turn up at 3am.
I remember that match against Wellington. We were in an almost empty pub, Agincourt Hotel, and as soon as Wellington went up 2-0, the bartender switched the game to the NRL. In the 5 minutes we spent arguing before going to the pub across the road, Sydney had equalised. The corresponding finals fixture in 2009/10 was only 18,453, not that much of a difference.
Looking back, historically finals week one has not been greatly supported.View attachment 6696
Sorry to get nasty, but many people in your position thought that by getting rid of the wog clubs, that bloke running the pub would suddenly become a soccer fan! How does it feel to know that these wog clubs you disenfranchised could have been your friend. But you went for the soccer haters instead.I remember that match against Wellington. I was a regular at the pub for about 5 years and never went back. Absolute shithole
I thought he was drunk waffling about the 1970's band Electric Light Orchestra (also known as ELO).You seem to have a fascination with ELO (Whatever the fuck that is), do you also like XG, as well. You guys seem too fixed on nonsense and not the actual game itself. No wonder football is boring as shite these days.
Remember the Americans develop their sporting talent through the college system, for all their sports.
Sutho himself brought up ELO not long ago banging on stats this stats that I entirely agree with but to his stat credit he luvs posting up attendance stats week in week out and it’s historyI thought he was drunk waffling about the 1970's band Electric Light Orchestra (also known as ELO).
And it gets guys like you talking about it. Job done.Sutho himself brought up ELO not long ago banging on stats this stats that I entirely agree with but to his stat credit he luvs posting up attendance stats week in week out and it’s historylol
aww I don't that much actually. And it gets guys like you talking about it. Job done.
PS: this thread is about attendances.
Those are the ones I hate, like someone has just re-invented the wheel. In fact, they have sent football backwards. It has become a bore with athletes, rather than footballers.aww I don't that much actually.
You also post em in other thread/s that I notice if my memory serves me correctly.
All good mate you do a good job - like other stats ELO xg crowd numbers same applies but obviously some luv it.
