Sign Up Now!Yes!What the hell is going on in Queensland that for years nothing has been done about Perry Park?!! Is it a conspiracy that the government don't want to upgrade it because they want to force teams to use Suncorp?
Stoke or a league crowd?

Just this weekend gone, we passed below the all-time lowest average (excluding COVID), the previous lowest being the COVID recovery year. A new CEO taking over just after the all-time low, the only way is up hey fellas??![]()
Not a bad listFeel like the league is a decent spot now, having had a really solid January from an attendance and on field action perspective. They ahve somewhat pulled back the sliding numbers.
The Sydney derby is by far and away the marquee match of this league. Well done to all who attended, even if WSW are really poor on-field at the moment. How much would the APLs be hoping that Sydney FC host the GF? They would be praying.
The powers that be need to drive home this momentum. In the next 12 months they need to address the following:
-Get CCM sorted from an ownership perspective (Priority number 1)
-Sort TV Deal
-Sort WUFC and put some plans in place. Forget the 26/27 season for them. Move towards the following if they tick all boxes.
-Sort Melb City stadium situation - Get them to the southeast full time ASAP
-Provide updates on expansion - Is Canberra still alive? Why is the Sunshine coast not top of the list for expansion now?

MC recently extended their agreement with AAMI Park and have also been pretty clear they have no intentions of moving any time soon.
As for expansion, it will only happen if their are owners willing to pay the (IMO) exorbitant license fee. It doesn't really matter if Canberra, Sunshine Coast or Hobart sound good on paper, if there isn't someone willing and able to pour millions into a club every year, then expansion isn't an option.
Doubt there would be any push. Rosich answers to the board. Simon Pearce is on the board.I think push will come to shove for City. Rosich should be in their ears about moving out of AAMI. Its a shocking reflection on the league when they play there in front of 3k to 4k people
Melbourne city doesn't care about the fans we used to have family days and autograph things now nothing like that happens. I don't think they care about getting fans like the bloke above said
peanuts sports washing......What is the motive of CFG having a club here if they continue to lose cash and have no interest in growing the club?
There is one advantage to AAMI that suburban grounds do not have - it is relatively centrally located. If you can get to Flinders St Station then it is within walking distance or you can tram it or train it. Casey or Tarneit or Geelong much harder. If you look at history, the VFL used to have suburban grounds but the AFL changed that by having three grounds: the MCG at Richmond, Marvel at Docklands and Kardinia Park. All three have direct access to trains. Geelong FC play less than half their home games at KP, the rest at the G.Doubt there would be any push. Rosich answers to the board. CFG are fine wasting money at AAMI, so there is really nothing the APL can do. AAMI park meets the stadium technical requirements, that is all that matters. I doubt this is even a matter of discussion at the APL.
To make money from selling our players. Then again they have brought in a few players this window so maybe they care about winning at leastWhat is the motive of CFG having a club here if they continue to lose cash and have no interest in growing the club?
