I'm probably just a grumpy c@#!, but I hate special occasion kits. Leave that shit to the NRL. A club selects its main kits and alternates at the start of the season, then plays in them for the season.

I'm probably just a grumpy c@#!, but I hate special occasion kits. Leave that shit to the NRL. A club selects its main kits and alternates at the start of the season, then plays in them for the season.

Loads of clubs have special occasion kits, all around the world. Remembrance Day kits are quite popular.

Yep, still don’t like the concept. I’m ok with adding a poppy for Remembrance Day or adding something small to the normal kit, but I don’t like the concept of a whole new kit design (often something pretty horrendous) for a special occasion.
