2027 Asian Cup

bookies do not favour us at all? I try to correct my bias but I reckon we have at least a 20-25% chance of winning?

๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต Japan~65%1.54
๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท South Korea~29%3.45
๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท Iran~21%4.76
๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ด Jordan~8%12.5
๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Saudi Arabia~3%33.3
๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ Australia~1%~100.0
๐Ÿ‡ถ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Qatar<1%>100
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฟ Uzbekistan<1%>100
Like England at world cups, winning the actual thing is far away. Actually lifting the trophy. I feel the percentages diminish because of how many obvious stuff ups can happen.

Wow. Im putting a bet on that!!
Reaching quarters or semis might have some decent value and a higher chance. England were around 2/1 to make the WC semis. It would've been stressful watching that but they got there.

I know someone who put 10k on Australia to win RWC 2007 at 8/1 and he was numb when they stupidly lost to England.

What is the source of those odds?

What typically happens is we won't pick the player then they're magically fit a week later in clubland. I agree however that any rash decision here is negligent. Behich it is...
I won't pretend to be an expert on these type of injuries but reports say that typically he would be expected to be back roughly around the time of the Asian Cup. I hope his recovery goes well and he is fit and available, but I would hate to see him rush back to play before he is ready and reinjure himself. As for Behich, it all depends on how he goes between now and then. He is getting on and doesn't have a lot of time left. I hope someone else emerges to put a bit of pressure on him and also to be an alternative to Bos in the future.
