2026 World Cup Squad

The dossier or the posters? I think both are pretty cool.
I mean when I open my feed at the start of the day and there's a post with a big picture and text and I immediately think someone is out of the tournament. Pre tournament jitters.

Crap like this just now. Some Page with BREAKING: Jordy Bos....he donated money.

Something bad is inevitable! We shouldn't be risking anyone today.

Gilmour got 40min against Curaçao. He's take 10 against Haiti instead.

I don't like Popovic's system. But I understand why it's seen as necessary. My biggest gripe is the squad, starting XI and subs are always too conservative too. Give us a winger who can hurt, a midfielder who can pass and changes at 60' not 80'. I'd be happy with those tweaks in this sytem but its unrealistic to expect.
Summed up my thoughts in more depth ! I hear you !
His system and we got to ride the waavvvvvvve of do or die.
Fingers crossed again !

It's just how Popovic wants to play but if we had Robertson, Devlin and Balard there we'd be moving the ball and positioning ourselves better in play. O'Neill and Irvine have terrible sense and touch.

A loose ball is almost always passed back or to someone in a safe position. We need to take more risks and hit it first time when Bos or Irankunda have started a run.

Add in Volpato.
Now why wouldn’t you make use more of these attacking weapons.

A serious problem is many reserves just aren't reliable. Leckie was terrible again. Behich just mediocre. Okon has a lot of work to do.

Thanks to Geria for doing a job. He's reliable.

Anyone want to predict the starting XI against Turkey?

Italiano OR Trewin?
Herrington OR Burgess?
O'Neill OR Everyone else?
MetcalfeORVolpatoORIrankunda?

I would personally still start Volpato and Irankunda. I think Metcalfe's best is off the bench. We need Irankunda's outlet and Volpato's control.

Have you seen the starting 11 feature in the Turkey game thread?

I'd start Metcalfe or Irankunda at RWB. It'll force us to play forward. Burgess should start. Devlin has to start.

I'm worried about Burgess. He could get cooked against Turkey's wingers. Switzerland are heavy down the wings like Turkey are, and Turkey don't really have a threat at the 9 for us. I think Herrington is the better option just for added speed.

Metcalfe or Irankunda aren't going to be starting at RWB, Popa isn't going to do that.

Devlin won't start either. Though, he probably should.

Burgess will be fine. He kept Japan at bay. Twice.

If we start someone else at RWB they can move around the pitch. Start Devlin and be covers. Sadly won't happen.
