2026 Hahn Australia Cup

Big. It’s gotta be rigged though ffs. They always seem put some strong clubs together and make 1 tie between two minnows so one of them qualifies. Will try to get to some of the games. Ironic draw given the recent discussion of Olympic having the chance back in the day to get the site the Sydney Portugal club now sits on

100% its rigged. The draws are never live.

If you look at past draws, FNSW favors the lower sides with draws, so it's seen as some sort of magic from there end. Like they want to see Sydney United for the 9th time, or Blacktown for the 7th time in the cup.

they rather those wankers at SD Raiders make it.

Exactly draws are never live or never even given a specific time they are being released

They used to.. not sure why they stopped. I just don't see the point of rigging a draw.
Nor do I. Control for controls sake/to curate the mix of clubs..wouldn’t be out of character. It’s probably a similar reason why the league also isn’t as open as is should be

Agreed. lol.

The article mentions a david v goliath battle.

Goliath is Fraser Park.
In all seriousness though, Olympic surely shouldn’t have too much trouble getting over Fraser park based on what I saw. Imo the 3rd tier of state football is where starts getting to that point where it’s hard to tell whether they’re really semi pro footballers or just good Sunday league players

Mind you fraser are winning in their league and Olympic are losing in theirs. Always an interesting dynamic in the cup lower league teams who are doing well on their league and are playing well and are confident vs a “better” team in a higher division who are losing every week and low on confidence

Either team will get thrashed in the 32

90+10 minute equaliser for South Hobart to send their semi-final to extra time against Kingborough, been proper desperation football for a while now after being 2-0 down. KLU have an alright squad but have probably been underperforming in the league.

Devonport won their semi yesterday
