The training venue is what MacArthur use.Rarely, i dont think it's ever used during the season.
Only the synthetic pitches next to it are used for training and games.
I know 5 ppl that have purchased tickets that havent been to a South game since before our ground was redeveloped lol.
Wouldnt surprise me if the away end is sold out by the weekend.
I thought Raiders are NPL 2, no?I would hope that the NPL teams were very competitive, after all it is only a one division difference. SD Raiders performed very well tonight, much what you would expect in a cup quarter final.
I was earlier reading that they had not beat our youth side in two attempts in this seasons NPL.
$25 per ticket...That's a very encouraging sign that we will sell out the South end of the ground.
Preston will make up a fair bit of revenue they lost from those 2 matches played behind closed doors. If they can get 6-7,000 people paying $20 on average, minus security costs and other match day expenses, they are looking at potentially making $75K-100K on the night.
No.I thought Raiders are NPL 2, no?
Do the home team keep the gate money, or is it shared after costs deducted in the cup.$25 per ticket...
Sorry my bad, was thinking of Sunshine down here for some reason.
I believe the home team gets the bag, thats why NPL teams usually want an Aleague opponent...Do the home team keep the gate money, or is it shared after costs deducted in the cup.
Strange set up if so.I believe the home team gets the bag, thats why NPL teams usually want an Aleague opponent...
Why? Doesn't the home side get the gate takings in most of the world?Strange set up if so.
When even my Serbo-Germanic friend
If NPL sides were good enough, surely they would have been promoted to the top tier by now...?I would hope that the NPL teams were very competitive, after all it is only a one division difference. SD Raiders performed very well tonight, much what you would expect in a cup quarter final.

It’s since been added toThe grandstand look larger on teh telly.
Recently promoted, for most of their history yesI thought Raiders are NPL 2, no?
As per what beretta said, very rarely, but I don’t know why, it’s could be a decent option for some clubs.SD Raiders put up a fight and were competitive. Sydney FC was a few levels above them even with a more youthful look. That for me was a penalty, so unlucky for SD Raiders.
More of a question to @Glenardo or @Beretta, how often is Fairfield Showgrounds used for football? Is that SD Raiders' home ground? Looked like a decent set up for NPL football on TV.
Still considering whether to go tonight or not, maybeOr even better against APIA.
