Was thinking exactly this, the standard of penalty was extremely high.

Really rated the Sydney United centre half just taking a long runup like a fast bowler and belting it down the middle.

TBH - Redmayne is not an elite penalty saver. The Grand Final double and Peru Wiggle act, on debut for the Mariners against the Jets and another couple for Sydney over the years.

Did it the hard way imo. They were more than capable of winning that game in regular time. Big week for united with the win away at Marconi on the weekend and now this

One of the great nights at Edensor. We do love cup football.

Credit to CCM, they were surprisingly good, for all the negative talk and feedback leading into the game, they really aimed up and gave us little.

We should have won it in 90min, Krslovic missing that one on one in the 93rd minute.

As for the penalty shoot-out, it's one of the best I've ever seen live, most if not all penalties were empathetic.

CCM were tough, constantly at you. Not sure how many players were from the academy, but they are fit as fuck u until last 15min.
