I'm not from Tassie mate, just love the place haha. And very keen for them to reach their potential at all levels!

I also love regularly having the Tassie NPL on my big screen if for nothing else than the stunning scenery hahaha. But it's a great vibe at the matches there.

The matches are close all over the country tonight. The Souths' match is the closest on the stat sheet, neck and neck.
 
South Melbourne gifted their second goal chance by some really poor mistakes by the South Hobart defender. Miss-hit his first touch then 2/3 strength backpass intercepted. South Melbourne still had to score it. Deserving their 1-2 lead at halftime.

Ref missed a very clear handball in the box that should have been a South Melbourne penalty - deflected flight path blatant on screen - but it looked like the ref had a player run across his view at just the wrong moment and as he adjusted his position to see the action he couldn't tell what he had seen.
 
Adelaide Croatia Raiders' lucky cup run catches up with them as they go down 2-3 at home to Cooks Hill United in an entertaining match. There was an equaliser in injury time, but it was called back.

Northern NSW has gone up a notch in my standings after tonight. A decent showing against Heidelberg too. All up to Metrostars now for SA, they better not balls it up against CC!

Good win by Cook's Hill, two goals in a three minute burst midway through the second half won it for them, left winger was good. Croatia had an inexperienced goalie who was at fault with one of them.

Really good showing from Bears..they even had some supporters down and their bear mascot had a great showing with all fans and the juniors that were engaged with him...In the second half bears came out and pressed high for every ball.. heidelberg the better side as expected but they got the best run they have to date! Bears are a solid side!

we will take the win over Northern Tigers, not an easy opponent.

1-0 win, same scorer, same assist, sane result as the waratah cup final. lol
