2025 Australia Cup final rounds thread

A serious question, what is the Victorian football association doing on the clubs' behalf?
Honestly? Nothing as far as I can see.... This years Dockerty Cup final being hosted at their tiny "pet" ground at 4pm on a Saturday is a prime example... and the womens cup final the following day?

What could have been a double header (coincidentally both mens and womens are South vs Heidelberg) on a Sunday with both clubs able to attract all of their juniors - boys and girls - not to mention many other Vic patrons if it was held either at Lakeside or OV will now be a maybe 2k afair with NO seating (only 250 seats at the ground) and NO shelter if it rains, spread over two days ....

Sorry , I may have worded this wrong, I meant what are they doing about the NST and the championship, it that is what they are called.

Oh I see... Well I think that this years change to the competition to promote 3 and relegate 3 clubs was in preparation for 3 NPL clubs "leaving" their stables in 2026... Apart from that nothing I have heard either way. There was a vague statement 6-12 months ago from memory around allowing clubs that were relegated from the Championhsip back into one level in NPL VIC lower than as they where when they "left" which is fair enough I suppose.

Olympic kingsway giving victory a run for their money

Interesting that victory have the least youth in their xi and are struggling the most both in the cup and against wrexham
