2025–26 A-League Women — regular season matches

Central Coast Mariners leading Wellington Phoenix 2-1 at the half in their A-League Women matchday 17 game after Tamar Levin scored in the second minute of first half stoppage time, assisted by Avaani Prakash. Peta Trimis with the other goal for Central Coast Mariners in the 16th minute, whilst Mackenzie Anthony scored in the 28th minute for the home side.

That wind is cruel they will have to play the ball on the deck because if they lob the ball it could go anywhere.

LiveScore claims the Melbourne Derby already happened with Victory winning 2–1, despite it not having happened yet. No other information on the app since it hasn’t happened yet.

Similarly Sofascore has it down as “postponed” from December. The accurate time and date should be 5:00pm AEDT on 15 February. Google has it right but doesn’t have the live score for women’s football games anymore for some reason (it does for some internationals and for UWCL matches but nothing else).

Sofascore has the correct page for the Melbourne derby return leg, but Google has stopped live scores for most if not all women's football games including A-League Women, and the only players from the Dub shown on their search engine are all Melbourne City players.

The result sees Central Coast Mariners move to fifth on the ladder, level on 22 points with Brisbane Roar but with better for and against, whilst Wellington Phoenix remain second on 24 points, suffering their fourth loss of the season and first loss since January 10th.
 
Makala Woods yellow carded in the fourth minute of second half stoppage time for Wellington Phoenix in their 2-1 loss to Central Coast Mariners for a foul.
 
Kayla Morrison starting her 100th A-League Women game for Melbourne Victory as captain, with Leah Davidson returning from injury via the bench for Melbourne City and in line for the same milestone. Karly Roestbakken returns to the starting XI for Melbourne City, whilst Taylor Otto assumes the captaincy for Melbourne City in the absence of Rebekah Stott, who has been ruled out of the Melbourne derby return leg at Home of the Matildas following thumb surgery.

Kayla Morrison may be one of the greatest Australian women's footballers to have never played for the Matildas. Counting her as Aussie as she has Aussie citizenship despite being American.
