    A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 25

Just seen Brisbane are second bottom. How is that even possible, Im sure they were like second half way through?

    A-league attendances

Am in the same boat although my team has been out of playoff contention for well over a month now. No finals to look forward too, not too many youngsters given a run, as much as i'd like to attend games, there is almost no point when that time and money could be utilised elsewhere. Matchdays...

    A-league attendances

$$$ Yanks have enough of this to spend on nice 30k stadiums and in most instances own these outright. We do not. Even the Oceania Club of the Century don't own there own stadium, what hope does every other club in this country have!

Lowy cash gone = league struggling. Ain't rocket science, look how much $$$ is being pumped in to MLS. Wrexham another example. Palmer would have been good for the league had he not been a nutcase.

    A-league attendances

Our attendances are amazing, considering the clusterfuck we are in and football being nowhere near the top sport in this country. K league for example is much more professional, much higher/dense population, but only averages a couple hundred more than us. I would rather have 6k loyal...

    A-league attendances

Is there any correlation between what is spent on players/squad and attendances. Of the top of my head, I believe the salary cap went down a couple of years ago, and in the same time the crowds have dropped considerably? There are not many x factor players in the league. Jaun Mata, Lolley and...

Women's Asian Cup match discussion thread

The final was very similar to the Mens Australia vs Japan games. Japan better technically, Australia fight to end, but just fall short/not good enough. I think the Matildas are falling behind technically to other nations, we had no thought process with our attacks where as Japan was able to...

    A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 17

Just had a look at the betting odds and Auckland favourites at $3.75, wouldn't be taking them that short however if they secure home finals then they would be hard to topple. Next are Jets and Sydney at $5, Jets would be worth a nibble at that price imo. I like Victory at $9.

    A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 17

Agreed. Whilst Jets are top, I don't thing they are "strong". Probably the most open comp we have ever seen to date. Auckland for example are definately not as strong as last year.

    Auckland FC

Anybody remember the "Football Kingz" or "New Zealand Knights". Interesting why Auckland FC seems to have got of the ground up and running really well but the clubs before them were disasters from the get go.

What is the motive of CFG having a club here if they continue to lose cash and have no interest in growing the club?

    A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 14

Sydney missing Lolley, but the starting line up yesterday looked very weak. Are they missing many/any more? Victory are interesting, building nicely, but a half decent 9 is the missing link.

    A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 13

Those clubs have been around 50+ years.

    A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 13

Even with the free tickets I’d expect Wildcats to get more. If the wildcats weren’t playing, probably would have got 15k. $40 per ticket is too much, and the club has been a rabble on and off the field for well over a decade.

    A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 13

I was fully expecting 3 points with O’Shea out. Credit to Brisbane, thought they played great. We weren’t terrible, but Brisbane were better. Didn’t like the time wasting, reminded me of the Asian countries.

    A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 13

Bigger crowd than the wildcats playing at the same time, wild. Such as shame we always fumble the bag when we get a chance to put on a show.

    A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 8

WSW biggest dissapointment imo. But when the club has been consistently crap on field for over a decade now, it isn't really a surprise.
