Fair guess mate.

Pope must be a nitemare to coach. He is compact, good defense, decent shot selection, but for some unknown reason to his coaches he manages to get himself out too cheaply far too often.

Yeh in Perth and Brissie which were clearly pace friendly decks with little need for a spinner. And that is the way it eventuated.

I still think it was a mistake to play the first 2 Tests without a specialist spinner. Just think GOAT is getting too old.

As long as Lyon contains from one end. It is okay. Soon they are going to miss Webster.
