I never did any such thing. You’re either confusing me with someone I else or lumping me in with some team of people you perceive to exist

The only new franchises I’d accept would be from Geelong, Tasmania and the Northern Territory - that’s literally it.that's true too
I actually wouldn't mind if we continue expansion through a combination of promotion and new franchises.
Just for what it’s worth re it being a loss making exercise. The current champions league format and including clubs like bayswater, metrostars, Moreton city etc (no disrespect to them) is not the same thing as and would have different finances to a home and away league made up of x number of clubs primarily based along the east coast and who have been financially vetted and put down a security deposit etc
That’s not to say one is viable and one isn’t, just that they’re different economic prospects
which 2 clubs struggled financially?I have heard the 6 of the 8 clubs foundations clubs struggled financially. This would be a concern considering there were only 6 games let alone a full season.
Thats were I think you are wrong. I mean sure we have been the loudest voice in the room, but IF South was in the Aleague from 2005 do you honestly think clubs like Knights, Sydney United, Preston, Marconi would have just remained content to play state league forever? I dont.Everybody knows Macarthur and Western United were a joke. Us fans didn't make that decision, Foxtel and Gallop did.
Calling us plastic fans because our team is in the A-league is just a cop out.
If South Melbourne were in the Aleague from day dot, I am certain the championship would not exist in 2025.
And SBS should also be paying for the privilege of broadcasting it as well.
Cant seem to get info when I google their socials... are they still hacked? It hasn’t been discontinued, both parties seem happy with the arrangement as of right now. If anything I’d say it’s more likely they might even become further intertwined and therefore diluting APIAs identity…imo
Decent existing clubs in ALL of these places mate....The only new franchises I’d accept would be from Geelong, Tasmania and the Northern Territory - that’s literally it.
Having any more of those spring up from already-represented markets in the league like WU and Macarthur did should be grounds for the current APL to be dissolved, and dare I suggest a FIFA-appointed normalisation committee to wrest control from the current FootballAUS admin![]()
Floparis HAIR is a loss making exercise.Anter Isaac (FA Chair) says FA's board has decided to support the Championship for five years. It is a loss-making exercise, but the FA sees it as more of an investment in the game. [

Maybe they can get some pointers from the financially iron-clad Aleague "clubs"? hahahahahaahahahahaI have heard the 6 of the 8 clubs foundations clubs struggled financially. This would be a concern considering there were only 6 games let alone a full season.
SFC are fuckin loaded.Maybe they can get some pointers from the financially iron-clad Aleague "clubs"? hahahahahaahahahaha
Maybe they should spend some money on a new third kit then?... HAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHSFC are fuckin loaded.
There hasn't been much quoted re the APIA/Wests future but for them backing for the Championship as announced sometime back below.

Wests Tigers owners buy equity stake in APIA Leichhardt FC
The Holman Barnes Group is branching beyond rugby league, forming a joint venture with the famous ex-NSL club ahead of their return to national competition later this year.www.smh.com.au
Do people expect every club involved in its first year would break even ?
Some people have no idea about business it seems.
Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t they one of the only ones who are financially viable. Again, I have no problem with Sydney fc, there was clearly the demand for a club like them in Sydney and they’ve been effective in filling that nicheSFC are fuckin loaded.
Imagine if they actually owned there own stadiums like most NPL teams....Messi and Ronaldo would be playing down under!Maybe they can get some pointers from the financially iron-clad Aleague "clubs"? hahahahahaahahahaha
Did I see on the news the other day that the wests group are having some internal problems at?There hasn't been much quoted re the APIA/Wests future but for them backing for the Championship as announced sometime back below.

Well if Sydney are loaded and CFG is clearly funded by a bottomless money pit, you've gotta ask yourself why they dont?Imagine if they actually owned there own stadiums like most NPL teams....Messi and Ronaldo would be playing down under!
