Buggered if I know, mate. But neither will anybody else unless someone applies the "suck it and see" principle to finding out.

I very much doubt that anyone, including me, has him in mind for the 2026 World Cup or the Asian Cup, but if he keeps getting good club stats in a decent quality European league for the remainder of this season and then into the 2026/27 season, it would suggest that seeing if he would struggle for the National team might be an option worth exploring. Especially if the current Socceroos coach doesn't accept a new contract at the conclusion of the World Cup next year.

Think we need more wasteful experimenting up top before trying the real suitors. Last window was wasted with playing the obvious where there are no question marks.

Sapsford and Stama are really hungry and Iredale can still score them despite being in a lower league. Fast for getting in behind too.
 
Adrian Segecic back in the starting XI for Portsmouth in their Championship game against Millwall, finally making his return from injury. Hayden Matthews on the bench. Jacob Farrell not in the matchday squad altogether for Portsmouth.
