It came out in the recent nplvic podcats that pfa (under the guise of APL) blocked it for championship and FA follwed suit! Why aren't they doing any matches tonight? There's free air and I have nothing to watch![]()
The bloody pfa at it again they always block thingsIt came out in the recent nplvic podcats that pfa (under the guise of APL) blocked it for championship and FA follwed suit!
Again, just nice to see these clubs all together in the same competition again. An understatement obviously, but much stronger together collectively that diluted across seperate state compsOur last ever nsl game in Melbourne was against Marconi, would be big.
Yeah Metro have lost a few of their good players overseas and to A-League in recent windows but still manage to be a cut above in SA. Before the previous window I'd say they would've been just behind the top Vic/NSW clubs, but as I mentioned the other day, Metro have fallen behind now without the big signings of those other clubs this window. They might need to warm up a bit as well to the style of the eastern states. I'll be pleasantly surprised if they get out of the group.Metro are so far ahead of South australia but still seem to be a bit behind the NSW and Vic teams both in terms of on field quality and facilities....I don't see how they improve without a home and away. Posession based teams tend to improve over the course of a season but I doubt they will have enough time in 6 games to improve enough to make the knockouts, so not feeling optimistic about their chances
I saw that post. Hill noting the "death to A-League" crowd. You know what I find the funniest about all this Simon, anyone that follows the Aleague is cheering on the Aus championship, but anyway who is associated with the NSL/aus championship just bags the Aleague. Who’s the problem do you think?

@Beretta they mention potentially Vlastelica not listed in the squad, heard anything in regards to this? Would be a massive out if so. Apologies if it’s already been mentioned and I missed it
It is understandable though JS96.You know what I find the funniest about all this Simon, anyone that follows the Aleague is cheering on the Aus championship, but anyway who is associated with the NSL/aus championship just bags the Aleague. Who’s the problem do you think?
