Now I don’t know how many others have suggested this but I can’t help but feel that the blatant NSWcentric-ness of


️, in this day&age, is probably more of a liability than a benefit to the game in this country’s overall well-being..
What I mean by that is that bc traditionally the state’s always been the game’s stronghold here and most of the iconic players/coaches have come from there, but more importantly the ADMINISTRATORS..and those ppl have never givenAF about the game’s struggles elsewhere in the country, even now, bc they’re too cozy in their Sydney-centric bubble.
I’ve been of the belief for years that ideally the FFA should be run by someone from the AFL states because ultimately they know what’s actually up w/regards to the overall state of the game in

. In saying that, let’s not have any more Ben Buckley types from AFL either - I’m talking dyed-in-wool

️ people, unapologetically so and willing to make the hard decisions as they arise.
