Full time in the Australia Cup grand final, Newcastle Jets win 3-1 after extra time but credit to Heidelberg United for not trailing all Cup cycle until the sixth minute of extra time.

Sign Up Now!With balls, your aunty would be your uncle, not probably, but really.with VAR heidelberg win that game probably, ref should be suspended, missed 1 clear pen arguably 2 for bergers & 1 for newy as well... heidelberg's red card was also incorrect decision
Nothing false about what polska said at all... that was APL appeasing refing masterclass if ever there was one... congrats to the jets for having it handed to them! Pure and simple.. had any of that gone the other way you would be lividly screaming from the rafters!! With VAR bergers have won that! With balls, your aunty would be your uncle, not probably, but really.
You only say that because the opposition was from the A league, that you openly despise. I would lividly be screaming fuck all, as i have no dog in the fight.Nothing false about what polska said at all... that was APL appeasing refing masterclass if ever there was one... congrats to the jets for having it handed to them! I surely do openly despise it yes! Doesnt change that we saw some 'very convenient' refing 'mistakes' that led to that outcome though! You only say that because the opposition was from the A league, that you openly despise. I would lividly be screaming fuck all, as i have no dog in the fight.
Why would you care about Heidelberg, unless it's a Greek thing, or an anti A league thing. I would imagine that you are also anti VAR, until tonight.I surely do openly despise it yes! Doesnt change that we saw some 'very convenient' refing 'mistakes' that led to that outcome though!
Thats been answered before. Why would you care about Heidelberg, unless it's a Greek thing, or an anti A league thing.
Not against VAR.I would imagine that you are also anti VAR, until tonight.
Actually id be miffed if it was handed in that exact fashion to the bergers! Once again it wasnt though, and the benefit of questionable decisions as in our last years semi, sees a pendulum that continues to swing only in one direction...when its sometimes then perhaps i would write it off to human error, when its always though, its obviously systemic! If the result was reversed, would you still have moaned if Newcastle where on the other side of the decisions ?
I need to see a clip of this first yellow again - because I thought that that straight red was vey harsh - I didn't think it met enough of the 4 D's (considerations for DOGSO that would make it a straight red), and it certainly wasn't Serious Foul Play.At the ground didnt think either was a penalty, having gone home and watched it again they were both penalties for mine. I thought the red to Heidelberg was harsh but i also think the previous last man foul that was a yellow should have been a red. If VAR was in for this game it would have featured heavily.
Both teams played very well, was a great watch, newcastle got the ball in the bergers box so many times but too often they werent prepared to shoot, it was fitting when one player finally took the initiative the reward came with that cracking 2nd goal. Bergers would be kicking themselves for not converting their chances.
Watching the stream 'live' I thought the Heidelberg player deliberately dragged his foot in the lead up to contact to both make sure of the contact and to set up a fall.with VAR heidelberg win that game probably, ref should be suspended, missed 1 clear pen arguably 2 for bergers & 1 for newy as well... heidelberg's red card was also incorrect decision
