Kind of expected what happened to Ange and even if Nuno was still there.
Shame I did expect more but I was dreaming.

There’s a reason why in the EPL the continuity of the top 4 teams exists.

They all have 2 things in common. A stable mindset with a long term view.

Some other clubs such as Newcastle, Villa are also trying to hold a similar view to break the top 4 ceiling.

Unfortunately, all the other clubs that yo-yo between mid table and relegation scrapheap hold an alternative point of view where the manager is given a few months to a season to prove themselves.

Success doesn’t come overnight. It just is what it is.

Agreed that he has but the wheels have squeaked A lot mid last season and to date.
They are struggling

They are struggling

They’ve definitely lost something with Dhuran, Asensio & Rashford all leaving.

They’re up against it on FFP, don’t think they have the firepower of the last season or two.

Having said that, Everton are going to be a tough one to beat this season and getting a result there isn’t too bad.

Cant wait for the merseyside derby. Neither can Moyes I reckon.

Watkins keeps shooting blanks as well.
I like Villa to do well but as mentioned they are struggling even though toffees have lifted and being the tuffer but they usually are.
Yes the derby is gonna be a huge one !

yes MCG so far so good, holding draw vs Palace good result for them.
Bournemouth done well again.
Fulham those points are valuable as it should be for Leeds, hope they get some wins to hang in.
Hammers are a shambles.
Talking shambles the manchester derby - oh how the mighty keep (giving) falling, the blue side have really taken the high ground now for some 10yrs, giggling listenning to Keane/Neville on some pods this morn, oh how its all come to roost against them, more so Neville the cocky bastard, Keano is black and white says it how it is for years I like that about him..
How long will Amorin survive ? the obvious scape goat.
Brentford - that was a good game to watch vs Chelsea, good ol Hendo is standing up for them played a top game.

Yes I know we LFC struggled, tbh all the years Burnley been in top flight we have hardly over played them when we visit them.
Always been a slog, always park the bus scenario - Burnely gained promotion off the back of their defense for their GF was way low.
Even though we faced 10 in their box most of the game you'd someone would have got a decent strike through all that traffic.
So frustratiing - I would have hoped this was a top moment for Ekitike skillwise would have grabbed his position whilst Isak is out.
Parker playing 5 at the back and the 4 mids deeep kudos for good luck to them till the obvious late pen call and MO finish for the late points once again.
Ugly but we'll take it :)

It's going to be a very long season. One of the biggest problems is that we want to back the manager, but not fully. We need someone to come in and be like, "I back you, but you can't afford to play players that don't suit your system. No player is bigger than the club. Bruno needs to be dropped".

No matter the system, it’s pretty difficult to build a foundation with 2 shithouse keepers.

Luckily one’s been got rid of. You need to try move the other one on and hope you can go in for one in the January window.

Also need something decent in midfield.

The keeper want really at fault against city though. We were shit everywhere else. We barely fed Sesko. Same issue with Hojlund.

I agree, our midfield needs fixing, bit we can't fix it if we are stuck with players who we refuse to drop because of their name

Midfield and backline needs alot of discarding to me.
Plus the bench isn’t that good as well whilst relying on ol casemiro macguire zerkzee.
Mainoo and yoro worth carrying on with but not yoro will step up.
The rest in midfield backs are not top6 strong enough players.
Bruno can’t live without but would be interesting dropped but that doesn’t fix the problem zimbos short term the way I see it.

I know Hojlund had a bad season, but I would have kept it. It's clear we need depth and replacing him with another young unproven striker was not the solution. If we were replacing him with an Isak like player, that would be fine, but we didn't do that.

Yoro is good player, but I think with our back 3 system, there is some uncertainty around whether we are getting the best out of our defenders.

I think we can live without Bruno. No player is ever bigger than the team. He has been at fault for at least 3 goals this season simply because he was ball watching. That kind of thing cannot be happening at this level. Then he gets into his fits and it brings the whole team energy down.

I typoed re Yoro - will he step up in time, sure 3 at the back is something to really grasp when young and the club he's in but its all about showing you can game to game.
Time i guess.
Hojland was a scapegoat no doubt, he though at times blew the limited chances he had, pressure is pressure and also I think as mentioned re Bruno who does cause alot of angst mentally to team mates no doubt about that poor Hojland was in a constant melting pot atmosphere.
You'd feel Bruno's breath behind your ear haha
He is a toxic type team mate - I'd be pushing him to the wall in the changeroom and give him a huge wake up call thats for sure.
For no one os bigger than the tam and club and Bruno has been the key for years now but it is fading, he is no defender he's also out of position so many times for he's over doing it - it shows he doesn't have confidence with fellow team mates, like I said, bluntly he needs a punch in his big head, that might help.

You got no EU games but cup games.
Looking at your next 4/5 fixtures ahead, I can't see them winning any tbh.

Feel like Liverpool going to walk away with the title. How the heck did Slot just walk in and make things so much better. I now know what it feels like to be a Liverpool fan during the 90's/00's

If you don’t have stan or an iptv, you can watch on rojadirecta
