So it looks like we have the team the fans been craving for a longtime . Mahoney and Sexton to start it seems at this stage . Hayward interchange . If there is anyone who can cover for Critta , I'll say it's Burto . It is a winnable game , Need to snuff out their senior players . Keep a check on To'o.
They will be underdogs pressure on Panthers now . Galvin at six might be the key ..

That is pretty likely, though Wilson would be an outside chance of being in the 17.

I say that because any injury to an outside backs means moving Preston to centre and Curran to backrow.

Hughes starting at prop with Peston at centre and Sexton on the bench is an even more unlikely possibility.

But I think if we get an injury/HIA to an outside back this game, we are probably screwed anyway.

Weather and the crowd are bigger factors than team selection.

The style we played against Manly would be great. The Panthers are obviously better than Manly. But in 2025 the Dogs are a dry weather team.

Wow could this be a major boil over at Canberra. Would be hard being minor premiers and going out the back door hopefully the Raiders can do it.
 
Team changes are good. Marhoney is better starting.

Hopefully Toups gives us a bit of presence at the start.

Plenty of mobility, fitness and leg speed on the bench.

I'm hoping for no injuries this game, we are overdue for some luck.
 
Tighten up the defence and keep playing.

I'm hoping we can come back, but looks like we're gonna go out the back door really bad this year
 
Only hope is to keep playing a d hope we can score a couple of trys and get back into it.
 
I thought the players would've been really up for this game, but who knows with all the injuries and disruptions? What can you say?
 
I would settle for winning the second half from here.

Our team will be better next season, but it may take a few more years to win a comp.

Panthers are doing to us what i hoped we would do to them.

Left side defence with Sexton, Kiks, Burton and Rinakama was a shambles. That was cobbled together for this game.

Panthers were smart playing to the conditions and backing their skill.

I am a fan of squad rotation, we haven't had the energy to match them.

Such a disappointing way to end the season considering the start we had but like you said I think it will be a couple more years before we actually win a Comp.
