The clip is longer than that and started on the subject of the trade deal. As if Trump would ever acknowledge her final words when money was mentioned :D

Look at how the other leaders look at Von der Leyen. From her disdain for the lower class as family minister to sheer incompetence as defence minister and now the shambles she's in now. She deserves to be given the cold shoulder. Merz and Meloni opposite are thinking 'shut up'.

That's an interesting take. She's talking about getting children returned, Trump is talking about a trade deal.

Clearly Russia has something on Trump. Either these supposed 'piss' tapes or the fact they laundered a fuckton of money through Trump's real estate ventures or something else entirely.

Not the last time people are going to talk at cross purposes. To think it's all for the camera when there's other footage of eye rolling when Merz is speaking and Macron turning his head to stare Trump down.

These are the clowns we've got currently. The EU leaders have kept the conflict churning you'd have Biden sat in a room shouting 'here's the deal' and then not knowing where he is.

These are very tentative steps towards progress but it's all a game for Putin and I don't think he's keen on stopping.

Not exactly but Ukraine and Europe have gone a long way to making this bigger with decades of mishandling. It's tricky because Europe keeps screaming more aid and weapons which are certainly needed but it also doesn't bring us closer to reaching some form of agreement.

I'd have preferred a lot more proactive dialogue with Russia but Russia waste time anyway.

I don't think I can agree with Russia taking Ukrainian territory as part of a deal but had Ukraine received less support, they may have been swayed into some arrangement quicker than the attrition that has happened.

Right. I understand what you're getting at. Difficult to know what the right approach was to start with.


Had Europe and the US offered a fuckton of weaponry from the get go and the go ahead to hit targets in Russia with long range missiles then Russia may have withdrawn and/or never invaded in the first place.




Or WW3 could have started.

Seems to me Ukraine is fighting with one hand tied behind their back.

In unsurprising news Maxwell, who's just been transferred to a cushy, low security prison, is saying she never saw anything untoward at Epstein's island involving Trump.

Those odds on her getting pardoned have shortened considerably today.

Didn't remember which thread was on this tab and started reading it as football transfer. Epstein Island FC.

Quick glance but I'm not entirely sure if a presidential pardon exonerates. I'm reading it removes barriers in voting eligibility and running for office. Often done symbolically for point scoring.
