NPL 2026

Perfect results and 120min lol

Better not fuck this up lol. But credit to manly they are in form
Best of luck. Would be good to see Sydney united win a trophy. APIA would also be deserving..looks like we might be heading to another APIA v Sydney united final lol, this time at a different venue.

As much as we complain let’s be honest I’ll probably still go

So the top flight loses its premier status because a slim chance exists that Preston could play a Greek club in the grand final and we cant have that at night. Trully laughable.
To avoid incidents and repeat of the unacceptable crowd behaviour which marred last year's decider at Lakeside Stadium as per NPLM VIC commentator Steve Curtain has confirmed to me earlier.

How does starting the game 3 hours earlier make any difference at all? Do people look around and say wow the sun is out lets make sure we behave.

Can only imagine they’re either actively trying to reduce the potential size of the crowd in order to help with crowd control… or they’re misguidedly applying uk football control methods to Australia. Ie “dont let them have time to be at the pub drinking piss all day”. Which is not at all a factor when it comes to crowd behaviour in Australian soccer. Or they think it’ll be easier to spot “trouble makers” during the day than if it’s dark. All nonsensical. Again, so many of the admin completely out of touch with the reality on the ground, sentiment amongst the football public/fans

At the end of the day it could end up being an Oakleigh v Avondale gf which would make them look even more stupid.

Last yr showed people want prime time grand finals. No way that many were turning up for a day game.
