The top two play each other this weekend in the national match of the round (according to me). It also opens the door again for Tigers in third spot to jump them both, although unlikely, they do play second bottom Brindabella already with -39 GD.

Their matchup with Monaro this weekend was likely to be zero sum anyway given both have one draw this season.
However, needing now the win will only add to the intensity…

Ah I stand corrected.. so because they don't have yoof teams they don't have to adhere to the U23 rule?

Not counting the keeper is weird, like I know why they do it because it would be an easy cheat just to have the reserves keeper play up every week on the bench but is that written in the rules somewhere that keepers don't count?

You could also say the same for UC although they aren't nearly as successful as ANU. Maybe one can partner with Radford and the other with Marist. Both of them have played the highest level before as well. Tom Rogic was literally running around for ANU not that long ago.

UC and Radford would make sense given they are across the road from eachother.

I have to see if ANU have like parter colleges in the city, like UC does (which Radford is not one of them, but still)

Not many draws across the league this season. But I wonder if Monaro will be playing for one this week given the updates.

That wouldn’t be wise, as Canberra Cro will want some consolation after the Federation cup loss.
It does require them to show up, however…

And now I've just found the 'exemption' by just looking up a couple lines from where I looked before. There's no other info on these 'exemptions' in the Regulations, so I would assume this is the exemptions announced last year with the declarations for Juventus, Queanbeyan and White Eagles.

All because of that ridiculous rule that if an academy has 5 players called up for international duty they can postpone a game.
 
Interested to see how Sydney Olympic v Sydney united goes today. Very niche I know as the vast majority of people drive, but annoying how long the rail line/belmore station has been closed while they re upgrade the rail line, been years now hasn’t it? Makes Belmore much harder to get to when it’s usually one of the easiest grounds to get to. Reopens October I believe

You and most other people who’ve attended npl games there I dare say, although parking there ain’t great either from what I’ve seen. Potentially more of a factor if it were to become a full time championship/nsd venue

St George Budapest currently 2-0 against western Sydney wanderers, pressure back on Olympic who would go back to the bottom of the table if that result holds
 
Also is there not some way that if Olympic do play championship out of belmore they could atleast print out some banners of their own to cover up the bulldogs nrl ones all over the place
