Summer of Cricket thread

Tigers used the grassy seaming conditions expertly by bowling stump to stump at military medium pace, specially to not allow hitters Head and Weathers any room to free their arms. Even our legend Steven Smith struggled on this surface so it had to be tuff going. Perhaps Pat should have given our world class quicks first use.

Am not overly bothered by Greens dismissal as he was trying to be positive and take the attack to the bowlers that had been dominating. Just mistimed that flick over mid wicket, a shot I have seen him execute cleanly many times. Even if we are rolled cheaply, Hazlewood and Cummins will thrive on this surface.

Not a bad idea to make batters earn keep, Baggers.

I’ve just heard Bangers are ranked 4th in world ATM in Test rankings. Apparently, they have started winning away from home.
 
Aussies showing they have not played any red ball cricket, let alone Tests for too long. Batters were ordinary now the bowlers are struggling to make a breakthru with Hazlewood lacking rythmn but economical, while Starc is leaking runs.

Lyon is now too slow in the outfield and that dropped catch off Hazlewood showing he is also losing his hand eye co ordination.
