And none of the above have muti-billionaire owners? Spurs are in the top five of big clubs in English football history, along with Arsenal, LFC, MUFC and Aston Villa. These were always the big 5 when i was growing up, Everton where just outside of the 5.
 
hehe I like the stab re Spurs/Chelsea but lets face it they are bigger today than yesteryer patj correct EPL onwards.
So where are all the new dawners as I mentioned - huge % there.
True nothing like the foundation days of LFC/United way way back.

I admit guilt I went to one All Stars see below :

Another I'm not embarrassed to say took my sons to LFC Legends v Australian Legends in 2016 at Homebush - 40K.
Last mickey mouse game but I'd go again depending who and for a boys night out more than anything.

Nah, you should be VERY embarrassed admitting to that in a public forum TBH..

Having said that, the SFC vs Galaxy match in ‘07 was genuinely-good value even just watching it on TV. Missed opportunity to establish stronger ⚽️ing links(in the right ways, of course) w/the MLS thereafter.

Nah not embarrassed at all and no one knows me here - besides I watched some aussie legends I greatly admired far more than what we've had barring the few accept-ions last 20yrs.
Some of these were the architects later days still trying better (yes even better ones missing)
  • Starting players: Zeljko Kalac, Scott Chipperfield, Tony Vidmar, Craig Moore, Brett Emerton, Ned Zelic, Jason Culina, Robbie Slater, Steve Corica, Mile Sterjovski, David Zdrilic.

whereas I see this as the ultimate golden balls plastic show, go figure.
As you said, if only for the right ways but never to be.
 
Middlesbrough toured Australia and NZ in 1975 and played about 6 matches.....

They drew 1-1 with Western Australia, drew 1-1 with South Australia, beat Queensland 2-0 and then beat NSW 8-0...

The only crowd figure recorded was 6000 in Adelaide.

Don't know the score for the 2 NZ games....they weren't recorded in the history book.
 
No Nat Björn or Manaka Matsukubo for some reason, as the comments are pointing out. The latter just signed.
 
Just catching up on the ol' social media and seriously loving the All-Stars kit. I've not actually watched an All-Stars game before, but I'm looking forward to it. I know(?) it's usually red (and the training pics showed red), but I really love the white.

I really need to hurry up and buy my tickets already, considering I've already organised my work to work around going to Sydney for it lol - plus I managed to rope a couple of friends into going too 😁

Also there was a video asking the players who they think the toughest opponent will be, and I love how most of them said Ellie Carpenter haha

The last kit was black. But yeah I like the white one too!

Awesome, it should be great!!! I’ve got my tickets, I couldn’t get to the Melbourne games so this will be my first time as well! Hopefully they make this a regular thing!!!

She’s one of their best players (best right back in the world), which is great for the Tillies!!! Their attack looks dangerous though, especially going off the Auckland game.

Of course, but extra funny because the ones that will be dealing with her were all acknowledging that it was going to mean a lot of running up and down XD

They do now - most didn't when they made their history.
 
Not an ideal result, but it was fun to be there with my friends (and then realise at half time that some of my extended family was only a couple of rows down from me - incidentally my cousin knows the ref, they're both teachers).

I think it was also a really good experience for our A-League players to face a team like Chelsea.

Yes I am aware of how flattering the angle is lol

Nice! Hope you enjoyed it!

We got some photos too but unfortunately couldn’t get to the other side in time to get close enough to see the Chelsea players (apparently Hannah Hampton wasn’t doing them anyway, she was right there). The A-League girls were nice as usual though!
