Wsw v Chelsea match thread

Can any Wanderers (or NSW NPL fans) on here shed some light on this Lual fella? I see he's the top scorer in the league and must be pushing for a starting spot in the A-League.

Looks like an exciting talent.

Awan Lual's started every game in NPL New South Wales this season for the Western Sydney Wanderers reserve side and has fairly consistent goalscoring form, only failing to find the back of the net for two games in a row at most.

Given how ass Wanderers are that shouldn’t be hard. He looks promising!

It's good to see players who are still relatively young born 2001-2005 start to move on from the A-League and allowing even younger players to continue their progress (2006-2011).

In the past, a lot of Australians didn't dare touch Europe and it created a backlog of even younger youth with nowhere to go.

The official crowd attendance for the Chelsea FC vs Western Sydney Wanderers pre-season friendly at Accor Stadium on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, was 27,496.
Didn’t look too bad to be honest, seemed like rbb attended in decent numbers. But these crowds aren’t really representative of anything. Past experience tells us that the types who attend these games with a Chelsea kit on are unlikely to ever engage with the game in Australia in a meaningful way outside of world cups and maybe attending an a league Sydney derby once every 5 years

thanks B, got to say not bad for the chilly evening and pack of chelsea kids playing.
My wife was saying they must be enjoying being away trip like this and playing ?- I said watch how the ball was bobbling between pass's, they must have thought wtf this goat track haha
No matter what touring holiday team plays you never see more enthusiasm in our locals in these games.
They always look as if every run they make like their life depended on it.

Wrong thread I know, but the Sydney fc supporter group have claimed they’re actively not attending tonight’s game v Tottenham. Any idea as the reason?
