NPL 2026

it's always the aussie clubs, they all do that in a heartbeat. do you think the others (wog clubs) would submit paperwork, look through footage, for some player that played 2min, which seemed like an honest mistake. lol

Inside the most ambitious club in australia they say :ROFLMAO:
Tbf I was told Mandic used to comb over the teamsheets every week to try & get BWE points lol

united would of brought more as well - but JDL was away in Nowra on Sunday
No doubt united brought a healthy contingent. Decent vocal support at times too, particularly in the last 10 minutes. Said at the time have said ad nauseam Sydney united have one the best travelling support in npl nationally. Top 3 alongside Hellas and Preston imo in no particular order. On Sunday I would guess the crowd was maybe 70% Marconi - 30% United. But it’s always hard to tell, could be wrong. United were outnumbered but it was a good mix

15 points between 3rd & 4th, dont think i've ever seen a gap like that in years.

clubs all the way to manly can make the top 6.

Olympic will get 15th spot and will be in the promotion / relegation play-off

St George is done for.
Olympic are the better team after all their signings. Only thing is for them they’ve got the harder run home. Posted these the other day, but just for reference

yep unheard of for as long as I can recall.
clubs all the way to manly can make the top 6.
Rockdale/Wolves/Manly - really avg seasons - Sutho come out of the dark past wise taking advantage upon their investing easier due to the mentioned.
With Manly's resource expect better.
Reigning Champs Spirit - ordinary title defence.
Olympic will get 15th spot and will be in the promotion / relegation play-off
Let see IF they can crawl out - the remaining 5 games look grim, see possible 2 wins.
St George is done for.
SG/FC pretty much.

Yeah no escape for them,

Barton was an absolute library after the match on Saturday a club who’s lost its soul
Been said before, and I’m sure it had structural issues. But such a missed opportunity that they didn’t refurb Barton back to its original size, or at least something like Fraser park etc could have been a nice little publicly owned boutique venue for the game. A better alternative to valentine sport park etc

Boutique, you say? It has always been a dump in the middle of urban nowhere.

More boutique than Belmore or Leichhardt or Kogarah* something in between those and a glorified local park. As much as people take the piss out of Olympic village in Melbourne it could have fallen into that niche. Which I’m sure the likes of Sydney Olympic would jump at if it were an option given the chance

If the main grandstand at Olympic Village was knocked over and replaced with a 2,500 seated grandstand with new change rooms and corporate facilities (like the main grandstand at Lakeside Stadium), then it becomes a pretty good facility. But in its current state, it looks tired and dilapidated.

Now you are talking absolute garbage. ( Leichhardt is on a par though)
