Australian transfers 26-27 Summer

Id say seri b is a decent step up and league 1 is a mild step up

Pfa had a very good analysis which combined elo with the performance of transfers between leagues. I think that is the best methodology without a yearly extended club world cup to do a proper elo across confederations

They found a league is a bit below league 1, this is consistent with transfermarkts evaluations too

It's hard to believe that Leicester would sell a player that has just had ANOTHER great World Cup and captained his country out of the group stage for £2mil when they signed him for £15mil two and a half years ago.

I mean they may need the cash post relegation but there's no way they are letting go of an in demand commodity for such a pittance.

I think Serie B and League One are good pathways. Burgess amd Souttar cut their teeth in League One. Theres more football. The standard is good. They're in the shop window.

Serie B maybe less so but it'd a good opportunity for development if Natta can kick on - although I suspect its his level. Serie B has been a good league for ex-Roo Valeri and current Roos like Karacic and Volpato.

If you have ambition you've gotta take the leap sometime. You can't wait around forever for the perfect move which may never happen.
Id say Serie B slightly higher than A league which id rate equivalent of top of league 1. Agree league 1 move is sideways. Id say serie B is bottom of Champ.

I just want him to leave Watford, can't see him succeeding in that system. Sporting is a good level for Irankunda and hopefully Sporting's history of producing young talent and progressing them will help him. Also, gets a chance to play top competition in the UCL, which is also important.
