Means Sutherland are now in the championship qualification spot and Blacktown are now looking almost safe. Relegation battle looking more and more like a battle for who out of Olympic and St George Budapest gets the chance at a play off to save themselves.

Sutherland v Olympic this weekend could be an interesting game
 
In South Australia tonight, Campbelltown beat Adelaide Comets 1-0 and WT Birkalla thumped Para Hills 11-0.

After 18 rounds, Para Hills has a record of 0-1-17 and a goal difference of -80. The worst NPL side in memory, possibly ever.

Quite the drop off from last season. My heart was sinking with them watching that tonight. At least it looks like the team is still supporting each other.

Agreed. Surely enough Greek clubs in the vic npl as it is. I know the current Brunswick juventus are a only one of many clubs which claim juventus lineage but would still be good to have an Italian club with some sort of historic significance in the vic top flight
 
Good win by Oakleigh against 2nd spot team Hume. 2 games ahead of the rest now with quite an easy draw to come, top spot should surely be won.

1-1 between Sharks and Olympic and 6-1 win for Rockdale over St George Saints.
Looking past the Rockdale vs Sutherland game, Rockdale will play the weaker opponents in comparison so it’s really their Championship spot to lose…

Edit: Just saw the points deduction news. Makes next week crucial but it’s their home match to lose…

Sydney Olympic and St George Budapest now equal on points.

You’d have to say on current form and trajectory St George looking the more likely to finish bottom and automatic relegation and Olympic the play off. Although Olympic have a hard run home. Pretty sure they have to play Marconi, APIA and Sydney United still
