NPL 2026

The social club is closed during non-South events, so I would assume this would be the case for the Dockerty Cup grand final.

The 'South' grandstand will likely be utilised for Heidelberg fans, and Preston fans will likely be based on the opposite grandstand as per usual arrangements. Preston fans will pack out their allocated grandstand, and I doubt Heidelberg will attract more than 1,200 fans. If Football Victoria cant organise this properly, then they need to have a good hard look at themselves, as South and Preston are able to organise matches without issue.
You realise this is FV you're talking about?? At the rate Heidelberg supporters turn up in numbers you may as well give them the coffee caravan to sit in and give Preston the remainder of Lakeside Stadium!

There wont be an issue beyond the same old bs chants and perhaps a provocative banner.or at worst a flare Too much at risk with another incident.. tbf heidelberg has shown they can pull a crowd they did npl final and au cup they are just at few and far between...

Do incidents mean both clubs get points deductions in the league?

Preston very lucky to win that. Good performance from nth Sunshine.
Thought north sunshine genuinely had the better of the play for large periods of the game, less so as the game went on. Some good passages of play too, just lacking quality in the final third. Looks like a place that would be very tough to go away to for an Australia cup mid week game on a freezing cold Melb winters night at what is essentially a glorified local park. Parochial support too. Too bad they’ve been drawn away to FK Beograd in Adelaide their first match. They’d have been a good chance of getting a result at home imo. Away is a completely different prospect
