Netherlands v Morocco is going to be a big game.

Looking at Morocco’s results they have only lost 1 out of the last 48 games in one article I read! Incredible! Plus they drew with powerhouse Brazil in this WC.

Netherlands have had some poor results - couldn’t beat Poland and a team like Austria beat them 2-0. They usually qualify easily for WCs too - apart from 2018.

Having said this, Netherlands, despite being a cool temperate climate, perform consistently well outside UEFA. Unlike a number of UEFA teams.

The Dutch team coaching staff and players tend to respect their opponents from anywhere and plan thoroughly.

I love visiting Scotland and would usually support them.

Having said this, Aus fans claim they get harassed and bullied on Scottish forums and they think they are decidedly superior to Aus / Socceroos.

IMO they can’t play outside Europe, because they know so little about football outside Europe, let alone the English Channel and North Sea.

I’d back the Roos, a good battle hardened team of plodders, familiar with the global stage, to consistently beat Scotland, anywhere outside UEFA.

They must be hopping mad Harry Souttar captains the Roos, whilst brother John is in the Scottish squad, catching an early flight home! John was preferred as a national team Scottish player.
 
Uzbekistan leading at half time. As it stands, Iran goes through, while Korea still need Austria and Algeria to not draw in their game later on.
 
Portugal should really go for it. A win puts them up against Ghana and then potentially Switzerland. Much better than facing Croatia and possibly Spain.
 
DR Congo ahead now. Looks like Korea is out and Iran hanging by a thread.

Pretty disappointing for AFC. Uzbekistan looked ok for the first hour but have fallen away badly. Not quite fit enough I guess.
 
This is so lucky for England. Now they play Congo instead of Senegal in the next round.

Uzbekistan has ruined everything. They had one job :(…
