Wed have always taken it if offered pre game. Plenty of World cup games have ended this way. The test is the knockout stage and we move on to that.

Yeah you're right but it's Poppa's fault not his. He's wasted at central striker. He's got such obvious match-winning strength on the wing or eeven deeper centrally when he's got space to run into with the ball. His height is also a disdvantage for a true no. 9. An ambitious coach would build the team around Irankunda, especually when he's teamed with Toure. Why can't Popovic see this
 
If I have got it right, as for who is our opponent:
  • We play Egypt if they draw and Belgium wins 🇪🇬
  • We play Belgium if both them and Egypt wins 🇧🇪
  • We play Iran if both them and Belgium win or draw 🇮🇷
  • And by a miracle, we play New Zealand if they win and Iran doesn’t 🇳🇿

Paraguay are currently fourth in the third place ladder and as it stands would be playing Germany, bearing in mind that Croatia, Algeria and all the teams outside the eight still have a game in hand.
 
Was good seeing Circatti boss that defense. Played right up throughout the forward front at times.
Him and Soutarr are pretty solid , Herrington did not make one mistake. Some of his touches were a bit light though. I'd like to see him muscle up a bit, he's got the mind for it !
 
Got the job done, a bit underwhelming given we have not scored in two consecutive games but at least we kept another clean sheet.

Need to work on the cutting edge in the final third, we lost the control of the game in the second half as Paraguay looked a bit more threatening and had a great chance towards the end of the game so will take the point and run I guess.

Now we wait for the round 32 opponent.
