The tiebreaker that comes after for and against would be goals scored then fair play, and with regards to the latter we're currently level with South Korea on four yellow cards.

We're equal in discipline with South Korea and then it'd be FIFA rankings. I expect we'll get one card annulling the discipline aspect. If we lose 2:1 and get a card then that would be a horrible way of being ranked.
Lucas Herrington played both pre-tournament friendlies and in the FIFA Series on home soil before today but by starting in the World Cup proper he'll be locked in as a Socceroos player for life.
If we lose 1-0, our GD would be 2-3, which is exactly the same as Korea. Means we can’t afford a single yellow card in that scenario, which seems unrealistic. So basically, if we must lose, it would need to be 2-1 to give us any kind of chance.
