The training footage and interviews show the players look keen and focused. A lot of media noise but these guys have travelled far and wide to get here. They get the demands of preparing and doing a job.

Geria and Trewin too but Trewin has come off as a bit raw and disjointed there. One firm pass to Hrustic and he's suddenly Cafu.
 
Some were saying Ryan should start but eh, good experience for the young bloke, who obviously has what it takes.

Could be. I've always wanted a short and nimble front 3 where we play more on the ground and move around around. The trouble again is the cut backs to Irvine and O'Neill don't allow for the most clinical shooters.

It’s strange that you have so little idea about what’s happening.

If we win or draw, we will play the second placed team from the Belgium/Egypt/Iran/NZ group. If we lose, we’re most probably out, but if we do somehow go through in third, THEN we’d play Germany.

Unsure why he’s starting again. But I do agree, if he flops today he won’t be picked for the next game.

The Socceroos still have a good chance of making the eight unless Patrick Beach has a howler and we somehow end up getting blown out by Paraguay today.

That first game was insane so I'm confident he will bounce back. My issue was always Burgess in that back line, he already got rounded easily the USA friendly so I was expecting the same

It’s a pain in the ass that both Ale and Harry are on yellows. Can’t lose them for the knockouts.
 
I won’t be watching no way. Not me got no Val’s of xans. And the game hasn’t even started and I’m shaking . Might be the cold weather but doubt it.

Agree that we can afford to finish on three points with -1 for and against but a goal difference of -2 would be detrimental to our chances of making the eight and if we have a -3 for and against like Scotland we're all but headed home.
