These debut goals have been great viewing. No issue at all with expanded teams so far. Even Curacao didn't give up.

I have no care I know all been said mate and also I watch any united related doco for it doesn’t faze me I enjoy the times just not our time on the park.
Some people don’t admire the previous goat Maradona it’s no need to defend if people see it opposite.

The teams that have impressed me so far from the first round of matches:

USA
Germany
Argentina
France (2nd half they were unplayable)
England

Morocco continue to impress not sure about Brazil but they will be a threat with Ancelotti, in terms of level Netherlands vs Japan was the best match so far but Iran vs NZ was alot of fun too.

In term of South American countries only Argentina impressed me, Colombia look dangerous but Uzbekistan gave them a match.

Portugal and Spain have been disappointing so far.
 
Hope this springs them to life. South Africa are for the bin. 1:0 Czech Rep on min.

I don't think England will be going all the way this World Cup cycle because they were unconvincing in the first half of their group stage opener against Croatia and may struggle against the likes of France, Brazil and Argentina come the knockouts.
 
Teboho Mokoena yellow carded in the 33rd minute for South Africa for a foul, becoming the first player to receive one this match.
 
Teboho Mokoena also suspended for South Africa's last World Cup group A match against South Korea next week for too many yellow cards after receiving his second yellow card in the group stage.
 
Glimpses of good play by South Africa but not enough cohesion. They've been one of the worst at the tournament.
 
Penalty South Africa for a hand ball. Close range but the arm slightly out does give some defensive advantage. Other camera angle showed it looked much worse.
 
It was always free hit for Czech Republic after qualifying in desperate circumstances but they had some decent Euros to build up to this. They've been very tame in the 2 games.
 
Interesting case study if this ends a draw as South Korea Mexico will be like Australia USA should Turkey Paraguay draw albeit in reverse order.
 
Didnt see the whole game. But man are both sa and the czechs really bad in terms of fitness or is the tournament already having such a toll on the teams for the second round? Both teams struggled to even run in those last 10 minutes.
