Should the USA lead us and the sit back he'll be handy then too. We've got a lot of squad depth currently so I think we'll see some rotation.

I think Volpato would be a good sub to keep it tight. His ability to hold the ball may be just what we need. He isn't so offensive he neglects defence.

I think Cristian Volpato starts against the United States given his pace, or if he does come off the bench then Popovic will likely bring him on to either close out the game or chase a result.

I’m not sure he’s actually that pacy. Seems to be more a guy with very good close control who is also tall so can win aerial duels.
