Than Izzo yes. Based on the past performances Beach actually looks decent with the occasional stop and distribution alright.

One goal kick against Switzerland we about 70 metres.

It doesn't matter who we pick is this regard, we don't have anyone who in a match for their midfield.

We might lose 3-0. But we might have lost 3-0 no matter who we started. It isn't really a downgrade in talent. Just surprisingly because of the loss of experience.

Everything is wrong with Ryan. Bloke is washed up. The sense of vindication some will get from this... At least he can't be scapegoated.
 
Okon's job will be to shut everything down so it makes sense. Metcalfe is a better choice here as he can come more centrally and Italiano can go higher up.

Once we get the ball the 2 mids are nowhere in attack so we need someone like a Metcalfe to move around.

But compare to the rest he is still playing at the highest level in la liga. Beach is still playing at domestic league and not even that outstanding.
 
Big call especially with Ryan.Beach did well against Switzerland and now that he is there I hope he has a blinder.I am disappointed for Ryan but life goes on.Irvine has great field presence but is just past his best.Okon needs to put in a big defensive effort and hopefully can play the role that Mooy used to have by being the outlet for the defenders and the conduit to the forwards.

3-0 is the least of our worries with that midfield and Beach
 
Last time poppa dropped ryan we saw ryans best ever form for the roos. Hope we see the same (or beach play so well it doesnt matter)

I like Metcalfe as one of the 10s. played well there against Switzerland
