The ten clubs in the championship play each other four times a season. Been this way with ten team leagues in Scotland since 1975-76. It is not a snoozefeasty as you would think.

It was always going ahead. it was locked in for two years at a mimimum.

Issue is and why everyone is so nervous is because the lack of communication and the current FA financial losses.

Infantino just said how great the championship is uniting old soccer and new football, if anything that's just forced the FA's hand to keep this competition going.

Speaking to one of our club reps last night they expect comms in june / july.

I agree, I just want it started as full home and away.. Dont even care if it slike Scotland or Swiss or Greek league where everyone plays each other an even amount of times... as long as there is sporting integrity and NO lopsided draw.

AND no more foundation club nonsense after this season.. full pro/rel for ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!

The groups were already announced this time last year if they could release them soon it will give the competition a bit of a buzz and maybe the qualifying teams a kick up the ass to get there

I hold out slim hope that they use the buzz of the world cup to make some announcements about the Championship either during or shortly after Australia's campaign ends. Lots of extra interest and eyeballs and it wouldn't take attention away from the Socceroos. But it's Football Australia, so they likely haven't thought that far ahead!

Dare say based on previous the afl are more likely to have big announcements pencilled in to coincide with the World Cup that the fa are

true this,their media machine will release some kind of next season headline/s or whatever but whilst the Roos are going through our Grp stage nothing will be more sporting news than WC Roos.
How ever long it lasts we shall see.
